THE PROBLEM
We are just like you. Within days of taking delivery of our gorgeous new C8s, we noticed that our radiators were "dinged up". What would they look like in the years to come? We were surprised that GM did not better protect the radiators so we went to work to figure out a solution. Take a look here to see the damage that will happen without our grill protectors.
the solution
We looked at other products on the market and did not like what we saw. We didn't like the dull look or lack of durability of ABS (plastic) or the other materials and designs on the market. Through trial and error, we think we came up with the best solution. We decided on a flexible diamond cut aluminum mesh with a jet-black finish framed with a durable stainless steel reinforced rubber trim.
The process of making our protectors is labor intensive as we precision cut the grill material including the front trunk release opening and then hand apply the protective trim. This extra time and effort make for a quicker, snag free and easier installation.
